Kaya Parents and Carers
Wandjoo to the last day of Term 3. We did it! What an event-filled term and so many opportunities to come together and celebrate as a community. I hope you will all join the staff in slowing down over the holiday break and taking time to recharge for our last term of the year.
Over the past two weeks our students have represented the school in a number of public events and their behaviour, attitude and effort has been consistently outstanding. I had the joy of attending the Massed Choir Festival on Saturday evening and was, once again, thoroughly impressed with the song selection and beautiful singing from all the schools who performed. Congratulations to all our students who attended the event and to Vivien B for her faultless commentary during the evening, as well as Liam F for his breathtaking solos. We are grateful to Peter Gilchrist who has supported the event for many years and did an incredible job in preparing our students for the performance. A final thank you to the staff who attended rehearsals, and to Baden Wheals and Olivia Tricoli who chaperoned the students on Saturday night.
