Lunchtime Clubs

Our Lunchtime clubs are run by dedicated staff and provide students with opportunities to engage in a variety of activities each week.

Our dedicated staff facilitate a number of lunchtime clubs during the week to provide students with a variety of activities to draw on the expertise of our staff and to cater for the many interests of our students. We also have the highly popular Skipping Squad each Wednesday morning before school that is facilitated by staff and enjoyed by students and many spectator parents.

Below is a brief description of each club available at Inglewood.

Chess

For students who like to dabble in the strategic world of chess, Mr Gilchrist coordinates the Chess Club in the Library each Monday. It is a wonderful space for our budding chess champions engage in friendly competitive games with their like minded peers.

Gardening

Ms Davidson has the lucky task of working with students each Monday in Gardening Club. There are many garden beds around the school that students tend to and with the school receiving a grant and many new plants, they have a wonderful opportunity to make a big impact this year at the main campus.

Lego

For students who enjoy the creative design process and engineering tasks, our Lego Club is perfect. The Lego Club is organised by Mrs Borg and run in her classroom each Tuesday at lunchtime. Two of our Student Councillors have developed a short video about Lego Club for your enjoyment.

Minecraft

The world of Minecraft Education is explored each week at Minecraft Club. Students in Year 4-6 are able to bring their iPads to the Library and work together to unleash their imaginations and create virtual worlds on the interactive platform. This is facilitated by Miss Tricoli and Mr Ford, and a regular favourite for many of our Year 4-6 students each Wednesday.

Art

We have many talented young artists at Inglewood Primary School, and we are incredibly fortunate to have the artistic skill and expertise of Mrs Wood who leads the Art Club in her classroom each Friday. Students are guided through simple creative activities in a space that encourages imagination and an unwavering belief that everyone is an artist.

Science

The highly anticipated Science Club will begin in 2023 and facilitated by the wonderful Mrs Martin, our Science specialist teacher.

Skipping Squad

Our brilliant Skipping Squad come together each Wednesday morning at 8am on the basketball courts to practise their jaw dropping skipping skills with Mr Ablana, Mr Serravite and Miss Tricoli. Skipping Squad is available for Year 3-6 students only.
