- If you are going to be absent, you are welcome to arrange your own Otherwise, please contact one of the Deputy Principals as soon as possible (before midnight or after 5am).
- Schrole School Cover and Casual Seeker are used for finding relief staff. A relief list is also available in Connect.
- Please note that all Short Leave and Long Service Leave requests must be approved by the Principal PRIOR to being taken.
- ‘Application for Leave’ is processed through HRMIS self-service.
- When lodging your absence request via HRMIS prior to the day, please provide the name of the relief teacher. Otherwise, email PS@education.wa.edu.au to ensure all members of the Administration Team are aware of your absence.
- Staff are required to submit their leave request through HRMIS within five days of returning to work.
- Medical certificates are required for family carers leave, sick leave of two or more consecutive days and leave that is taken immediately prior to or after a school break. Refusal to do so may result in this leave being investigated.
- The medical certificate should be put in the tray in the Manager Corporate Services (MCS) office within 5 days of returning to school.
